The Education Experience

A Professional Real Estate Inspector is the highest level of inspector license available in Texas. To obtain this license, an applicant must be a Real Estate Inspector  and meet certain experience and educational requirements while working as a Real Estate Inspector and pass an exam.  A Professional Real Estate Inspector is not required to be sponsored  by another license holder to perform real estate inspection.

Structural Systems

  • Fireplace and chimney
  • Roof covering and support
  • Attic insulation and ventilation

Mechanical Systems

  • Stoves, Ovens, Cooking tops
  • Dishwasher, disposal, range hood
  • Water heater, vents and flues
  • Plumbing fixtures / valves / flow
  • AC and Heater units, exposed ducts
  • Gas system leak checks

Electrical Systems

  • Service panels, breakers, grounding
    circuits and outlets
  • Wire sizing & wire type
  • GFCI / AFCI systems

Exterior Systems

  • Pools & Spas
  • Sprinkler systems
  • Outbuildings
  • Outdoor cooking equipment and decks
